IT all started with a ball of yarn...

At a very young age, my mother taught me how to crochet and sew, but it was a friend who introduced me to knitting and ever since then, I've loved knitting and want to get better at it. I knit scarfs the most and made dish cloths one year for Christmas, but that's it. What made you start knitting or sewing or even crocheting?
